Palm Sunday When: April 12-13 Mass times: as usual Pick up a palm branch as you enter the church for Mass. Have them in your hands at the beginning of Mass for the blessing. Blessed palms can be taking home to display behind crucifixes, above doorways, or in Bibles, as reminders of faith and protection. Lenten Penance service: 3:00 pm (at Holy Spirit parish) Priests from around the region come to hear confessions. Take the opportunity to be spiritually prepared for Easter! ![]() | ![]() Holy Thursday On this night, Jesus instituted the Eucharist and the priesthood. The Mass of the Lord's Supper includes a reenactment of Christ washing the feet of his disciples and afterwards the Blessed Sacrament is tranferred to a special altar with a solemn procession. Confessions: 12:00 pm-1:00 pm Mass of the Lord's Supper: 6:30 pm Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: until midnite in the parish hall Indulgence opportunity: prayers to be recited any time that day (conditions apply) | Good Friday Experience the powerful narrative of Jesus' Passion in the Gospel of John as the church prays for the entire world. Then venerate the Lord's Cross which became the instrument of our salvation.
