Religious Education for Youth Welcome to St. Patrick's Religious Education program! The first school of faith is the Catholic home. To assist parents in educating their children in the Gospel, we here at St. Patrick's offer a program that we call religious education. You may be familiar with this under one of its other names like CCD or Sunday school. We offer programs for children in pre-k and kindergarten all the way through their senior year in high school. Each year, our qualified catechists help the children grow into their Catholic identity through exposure to Catholic Church teachings, service, prayer, and activities. Fr. Sorensen came to McDaid to bless backpacks. He reminded us that we carry our backpacks and schoolwork, much like Jesus carried His cross. May Jesus be always on our minds and in our hearts as we take on everything the school year brings our way.
